About the Role

We're looking for a sales-focused individual to lead our outreach to independent garden centers (IGCs) for our proven signage product. This is a critical, high-impact role that will directly shape the direction of the company. You'll work directly with the founder to onboard as many IGCs as possible, with a particular focus on the current offseason window—the ideal time to get signage ready for spring.

What You'll Do

• Proactively reach out to IGCs to introduce and sell our signage product
• Use our internal tools to create example signage for clients, helping IGCs visualize what their own custom signage would look like
• Work closely with the founder to develop and execute sales strategies
• Improve marketing content, email campaigns, and outreach materials
• Help determine product-market fit and company direction through direct market feedback
• Own the sales process from initial contact through onboarding

Who You Are

• Connected to the garden center world - You know IGCs, understand their needs, and have relationships or the ability to build them quickly
• Sales-driven - You're motivated by closing deals and growing revenue
• Entrepreneurial - Comfortable working on small teams, taking risks, and figuring things out independently
• Flexible and adaptable - How you accomplish goals is up to you; we value results over rigid processes
• Industry experience preferred - Experience in garden centers, horticulture, or related B2B sales is a significant plus
• Timing-aware - You understand the seasonal nature of the industry and the urgency of the offseason window

Nice to Have: Ability to create video service letters as part of marketing outreach (marketing skills are helpful but not required)

Compensation
